The Friends’ Book Depot is offering a chance to go back in time for bargain treasures and fond favorites during its first-ever vintage book sale Jan. 20-22, 2017.
For this special three-day sale, the Book Depot – the Treasure Coast’s largest used book store – will open its back room for shoppers to browse hundreds of vintage books that have not previously been for sale at this unique thrift store.
The vintage books have been donated to the Book Depot over the years, and volunteers have been researching them to offer comparison prices and accurate descriptions. There are first editions, childhood favorites, fiction, history, cookbooks and more.
The special sale also offers National Geographic magazines dating back more than a century. They are packaged by year and would make a great gift commemorating a birthday or anniversary.
If vintage is not your thing, the Book Depot has thousands of other gently used hard covers, paperbacks, CDs and DVDs in its bright and well-organized space.
The Friends' Book Depot is updating its website! Look for updates about special sales, upgrades at the store, volunteer opportunities and more!
Another goal of the redesign is to connect this site more directly with the Friends of the Martin County Library System. The Book Depot is a project of the Friends of the MCLS, which supports programming, materials and technology at all six Martin County Public Libraries.
