The Friends of the Martin County Library System is slashing the already-low prices at the Book Depot during a half-price sale Feb. 15-19, 2017.
The Friends’ Book Depot is the Treasure Coast’s largest used book store, and most items are regularly priced at less than $3. For the special sale, everything in the store – fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, art books, cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, large print books, etc. – will be half price.
The Friends' Book Depot is located in building H-15 of the B&A Flea Market. Its hours are 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays and Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
On weekdays, parking is available in front of the store; on weekends the nearest parking is in the Flea Market’s Green Lot.
ABOUT THE FRIENDS' BOOK DEPOT
Operated by volunteers, the Book Depot is a project of the Friends of the Martin County Library System, a non-profit organization that raises funds for programs, materials and equipment at the county’s six public library branches.
The Friends' support includes children’s programming such as Family Place and Paws to Read, and adult programming including the Chautauqua South series, movie viewings and Martin’s Most Wanted Books. The Friends also supports library staff development, volunteer appreciation, the library newsletter and new RFID check-in/check-out systems.
